Super 8 Pressure Plate - Frame Master
Precision-made pressure plate for any Kodak Super 8 film cartridge ~
A precision-manufactured, hard-chrome-plated brass plate which is simply additionally fitted into the pressure plate window of any Super 8 cassette: higher precision of the guiding device leads to a improved picture steadiness, both horizontally and vertically -- with the lens correctly adjusted, a uniform sharpness of the picture is achieved over the entire width of the image area -- reduced partly unsharp pictures or bumping sharpness -- reduced sharpness variations -- film runs smoother through the camera, thus producing far less camera noise -- the improved pressure of the film towards the film gate results in a distinctly improved picture quality -- improved slow-motion and high-speed shots -- reduced scratches caused by the plastic cassette pressure window on the base side of the film thus improving video transfers.

Hello John,I've enjoyed your Super 8 Guy website for almost two years now. It's been invaluable to me. Why did you take off all the great Super 8 info off your site? Is it somewhere else?
I saw your "Broncho Billy" film on PBS in about 1980 when I was a kid. When I read about your Oscar for the film, my memory vividly brought back your film back to me. I really enjoyed it back then and I'd love to see it again.
Is it possible for me to see it?
Thanks,Hugo Kobayashi
